Player Awards
Most Improved Player Award
Eligible Time Frame: January 1 – December 1, 2025
The Handicap Chairs will use the USGA’s formula to determine the most improved player, plus a few other requirements:
The player must have at least 15 acceptable posted scores during the qualifying period.
At least 10 of those scores should be from 18-hole rounds.
The player must have at least 3 scores from Parfects Tournaments during the 2025 Season
The Pink Jacket Award will be handed out to the winner at the Annual Holiday Gathering in December.
General rules for the following competitions:
Maximum handicap is 36.
We will be invoking the maximum stroke of 10 on any hole. Pick up your ball and record a 10 with 3 putts (to stay in the Low Putt contest) if you will exceed 10 strokes.
Stableford Overall Winner
The winner will be the ParFects member with the best overall score from their top 5 Parfects Stableford Tournaments.
All scorecards must be fully filled out and turned in after each tournament, including Course Handicap, Strokes, Putts, and Stableford scores. Don’t forget to date and sign the card—any incomplete cards won’t count.
There are 7 Stableford Competitions in 2025: March, May, June, July, August, September, and November. (Only the best 5 scores will count.)
April and October tournaments won’t be included in the Stableford Competition.
The winner will be announced during the Annual Holiday Gathering in December.
Putting Competition
The winner will be determined based on the best 5 out of 7 putting scores from the ParFects Tournament Days. The total number of putts for each round will be recorded. The lowest putting total for each tournament will be used to calculate the cumulative score.
Definition of a putt: Ball must be on the green. If any part of the ball is on the green, it can be counted as a putt. A ball on the 1st cut/fringe does not count as a putt. If ball putted on green rolls off green, the next shot is not a putt.
Players must participate in at least 5 out of the 7 eligible tournaments.
The following tournaments will count toward the competition:
March, May, June, July, August, September, and November.
April and October tournaments are not part of the competition.
A complete, dated, and signed scorecard with the total number of putts is required for each tournament to be eligible.
Tiebreaker:
In the event of a tie, a putt-off will be held at the Annual Holiday Gathering.
Players will take a set number of putts (e.g., 3 or 5) on the practice putting green.
The player who sinks the most putts wins.
If the putt-off remains tied, players will continue taking additional putts until a winner is determined.
Club Champion
The Club Champion prize is awarded to the player with the lowest gross score based on their best 5 out of 7 eligible Parfects Tournaments.
Players must participate in at least 5 out of the 7 Stableford tournaments.
